Medical courier equipment brands are not ranked here. Fifteen tests to run on any supplier instead, and the evidence to ask for before you buy.
What to take away

Nothing here states a specification, packaging instruction or performance claim. What your equipment must do is set by federal transport rules, by your state, and by the contracting laboratory's protocol, and the supplier is not the authority on any of them.
Why no list of names
A useful ranking would need three things a page cannot have: current pricing, verified performance in your specific use, and knowledge of what support looks like in your region. Published lists in this trade are assembled from marketing material and directory entries, which tell you who advertises rather than who performs.
There is a worse problem. Equipment suitability here is determined by classification and by the laboratory's protocol, not by brand quality. The best made container in the world is the wrong purchase if it does not match what you are actually permitted and asked to use. Fifteen checks on any supplier
Documentation and fit
- Can they state, in writing, what their item is designed for, without you supplying the answer first?
- Do they provide documentation an auditor could read: specifications, materials, care instructions, and any conformance claim with its basis?
- Do they ask you what you carry before recommending anything? A supplier who does not ask is guessing.
- Will they say plainly when their product is not suitable? The ones who will are worth keeping.
- Can they point at the standard or instruction their claim rests on, rather than at their own brochure?
Supply and support
- What is the actual lead time now, confirmed rather than published?
- Do they stock consumables and replacement parts, and for how long after a model changes?
- What happens when an item arrives damaged, and who pays for the return?
- Is there a named person to call, or only a form?
- Do they supply single units, or only quantities that suit a fleet you do not have?
Behavior over time
- Do they notify customers when a product changes, or does the next delivery quietly differ from the last?
- Have they handled a defect for you, and how? This is the only check that produces certain knowledge, which is why a small first order is worth placing.
- Do their prices move without notice, and are increases explained?
- Will they support a verification or calibration requirement, if their product measures anything?
- Do they push you toward more than the route needs? Persistent oversell is a reliable signal about whose interest is being served.
Score them yourself, in writing, and keep the sheet. A year later it is the record that tells you whether the supplier you chose actually behaved as they presented.

The right hand column is the useful one. In every case a weak answer is a supplier substituting confidence for documentation, and in a trade where your customer runs audits, that is a problem you inherit.
Test before you standardize
Buy one, run it on a real route for a month, and check three things: whether it survived normal handling, whether the driver used it as intended, and whether it produced the record you needed. Only then buy in quantity.
Standardizing early feels efficient and is expensive when the choice is wrong, because you now own a fleet of the wrong item and a driver population trained on it. Standardizing after a month of use costs you one unit.

Do not let a supplier answer a compliance question
The most common failure in equipment buying here is treating the salesperson as the authority. They are the authority on their own product and nothing else.
Compliance questions belong to PHMSA's guidance on transporting infectious substances safely for classification, packaging, marking, documentation and training, to your state for licensing and vehicle rules, and to the contracting laboratory for its own protocol. Safety questions belong with OSHA, whose recommended practices for safety and health programs set out how a small employer identifies hazards, controls them, trains people and checks that the controls are holding.
Get those answers first, in writing, then go shopping. A supplier who tells you what the rules require, without being asked to cite anything, has told you something useful about themselves.
Fitting the purchase to the operation
Equipment decisions are downstream of the route. What you carry, how long it sits in the vehicle, how many hands touch it, and what evidence the customer expects all come first. Is a well known supplier safer than a small one?
For availability and continuity, often. For responsiveness to a one vehicle operation, frequently not. Run the same fifteen checks on both and let the answers decide rather than the name.
Should I buy from the laboratory's preferred supplier?
Ask why they prefer them. If the reason is protocol compatibility, that is a strong argument. If the reason is habit, it is worth checking the alternatives yourself.
How do I evaluate a supplier I cannot test first?
Place a small order and treat it as the test. Check twelve on the list, the defect handling, before you commit to anything larger, because it is the one that cannot be assessed from a website.
What if a supplier claims their product meets a requirement?
Ask what the claim rests on and get it in writing. Then confirm the requirement itself with the body that sets it, because a supplier's understanding of a rule is not the rule.
